The MA-series alarm horn sounders (MA1F, MA1R, MA2F, and MA2H) are high-performance audible signaling devices engineered for industrial, fire alarm, and general warning applications in harsh indoor and outdoor environments. All models are housed in a fire-retardant, impact-resistant ABS enclosure rated NEMA Type 4/4X/13, ensuring reliable operation in wet, corrosive, and high-contamination locations. The series is designed for durability and ease of installation, featuring stainless steel, ratchet-adjustable mounting brackets, wide input voltage ranges, and high-efficiency Class D amplifier technology that delivers high sound output with low in-rush current and reduced power consumption. Acoustic performance across the range is optimized to meet varying ambient noise conditions and coverage requirements. The MA1F delivers up to 117dB(A) via a compact flare horn, while the MA1R provides 114dB(A) of omni-directional sound output for uniform area coverage. The MA2F increases output to 123dB(A) using a high-efficiency flare horn, and the MA2H achieves a very high output of 129dB(A) using the E2S 2H super high-output flare horn, engineered for maximum audibility in extreme noise environments. The MA2F and MA2H models incorporate two user-selectable power settings, allowing system designers to balance sound pressure level and current consumption, making the MA-series a flexible solution for scalable industrial and fire signaling applications.
